I like it. A little of that high octane in the Swiss Miss will keep those little hunters from getting to restless.

Slummy:
Blinds are rare in Colorado. So, I know little about them. I'm guessing that being quiet is important? You have a couple of noisy appliances. That big space heater is pretty loud. Doesn't that alert the deer to your presence? That Pocket Rocket could be replaced with an absolutely silent alcohol stove. Or is it worth it to be quiet?
Other than that, the blind looks pretty luxurious. Nice setup.
BTW there are currently two young deer and a 3x3 buck lounging in the shade in my backyard. Inside city limits they are off-limits. They eat my wifes vegetables and flowers.

Not loud really at all. Except at startup, the propane makes a trumpet sound. lol bit for 3 seconds. Funny thing, these deer have tolerated me out here all summer clearing trees, building rock dams, plowing food plot. Semi suburbanized deer. Also they have tolerated me building this elevated blind. Saws, hammering. All while usually browsing the edges of this grassy creek lowland. No more than 200 yards standoffish. Often times within 75 yards of my running rechargeable circular saw and impact screw driver. Just flicking tails and an occasional head thrown up. I can have deer in that food plot 80 yards out and ignore me unlatching windows and fastening them up and setting other stuff up. I have not killed one of these does on over 10 years. I guess they know. However this old girl might need some de-programming. 😂 she was all bent out of shape about a propane cylinder, a broom and shiny new trash can that showed in the usual spot where the tractor is parked beside this blind.

Hey slum.

good luck. No plans, well some , myself, renegade50 and my son, even mrs slumlord, started digging holes where I laid down some spray paint, paced off and marked with a 25ft tape. Started hammering chit together. Lots of head scratching, made a goof here and there. Always a work around. Legal pad, pencil, staedtler architect scale The stairs and mini deck got changed and offset due to 8degree moffet bracket conflict. The base and materials stayed close. Not plans above the deck line, just started framing an 8x7 shed Added extra poles/pilings, sunk 2-3 deep in sandy soil. Lots of big lag bolts, carriage bolts. Screws. No nails. I will make a thread next week about the complete build. Took lots of pics throughout the project.
