Love me some cloudy days when squirrels are mainly on the ground. Ended up with eleven this morning (nine in the pic).

These will be fried. Sometimes I’ll cover them in beef broth and cook them in the oven like a roast. Remove the meat from the bones and simmer in cream of mushroom. Then add the goodness on top of rice.
