Gentlemen,

I have a remington Model 700 VLS in .22-250 for sale. The rifle itself has had about 500 rounds put through it. I have taken very good care of this rifle and it has served me well. I have had the trigger worked on by a very reputable gunsmith in the area and it breaks crisply at 2 lbs. The rifle is outfitted with a Leupold VX-II 6x18 w/AO and target turrets, fine duplex. I have a click chart for the rifle out to 500 yards (pictured). The scope is mounted with leupold rings and 2 piece bases. the rings have been lapped.

The rifle is setup to shoot 50gr Nosler Ballistic tips at about 3738fps. I would like to include the following with the rifle:
-100 50gr Nosler Ballistic tips
-85 50gr Vmax's (shoot as good as the BT's with the same load)
-75 60gr sierra HP's
-several boxes of nosler solid base 52gr bullets
-100 52gr Amax's (i was going ot test these but haven't gotten around to it)
-90 unfired new winchester cases
-about 120 fire-formed winchester cases
-Redding Competition Dies. Includes the micrometer neck sizing die with the bushing and micrometer seating die and FL resize die. I have two titanium nitride coated bushings for the neck die, one to shoot un-neckturned brass and the other to shoot neckturned brass.

-about 60 loaded rounds with the above load

I would prefer to sell this as a package deal. I am asking $1200 for the entire package deal. I am willing to seperate the rifle and scope if someone wants the RIFLE first. If that's the case, i need $650 for the rifle alone. I will pay shipping cost to your FFL. I may be willing to seperate the other items if the circumstances allow.

I'm looking for the following:
6mm bullets, mainly 75 or 87gr vmax's but i'll consider others.
6mm BR neck sizing die
6mm Lapua brass
Possibly a nikon, nightforce or leupold scope, something in the flavor or 6x18, 4x14, etc.

50gr Vmax's into 0.442" @ 100 yards. The red dot is about the size of a dime.

50gr Ballistic tips @ 100 yards but averages around 0.4"

Dead eye, Tom Sink here again. I noticed on your rifle the chart that you had taped on your rifle. What would you charge me to make say 6 of these so I can tape them to my rifle..

Tom,

It was really pretty easy. I did not use a drop chart or anything like that to figure the elevation adjustment. Those are actual real-world numbers that i came up with by shooting at those ranges. I simply put it in excel, printed it and taped it on with a piece of clear packaging tape. It actually looks pretty good and i don't have to fumble with a piece of paper or anything like that. If you can't figure out how to put it together in excel then i will gladly make you several. Just let me know where to send them and also what the range adjustments are. Better yet, i can make them and them to you via email so all you have to do is print, cut and tape.

thanks,
Simon

Price drop.....$575 for the rifle, $300 for the scope if someone buys the rifle first and doesn't want the scope, $850 for the combo.

Gentlemen,

I don't want to sell the scope unless i sell the rifle first. If the rifle sells seperately from the scope then i'll give you first choice.

thanks,
Simon

Sorry guys, i edited it to say the correct info. It says in the original post that i will seperate them IF I sell the RIFLE first. I don't want to seperate them until i sell the rifle. Otherwise i'll have a scopeless rifle. If anyone buys the rifle, i'll let ya'll know.

Sorry for any confusion.

thanks,
Ruck

Mike, you're right, it's the sellers choice, but if you'd seen how the add was listed before it was edited, you'd probably understand why BMD thought the scope was his for $300.00.

It was something like this; Rifle, $575.00, scope $300.00, or the package for $850.00. There was no caveat about the rifle being sold first, at least not in the post he responded to.

Merry Christmas, everyone!.....

no disrespect intended, is this the $850 package??:

I have a remington Model 700 VLS in .22-250 for sale. The rifle itself has had about 500 rounds put through it. I have taken very good care of this rifle and it has served me well. -85 50gr Vmax's (shoot as good as the BT's with the same load)
-75 60gr sierra HP's

-Redding Competition Dies. Includes the micrometer neck sizing die with the bushing and micrometer seating die and FL resize die. I have two titanium nitride coated bushings for the neck die, one to shoot un-neckturned brass and the other to shoot neckturned brass.

-about 60 loaded rounds with the above load

Edit: misspelling, maybe more than one.....

I never saw the orginal post, but I do believe that someone shouldn't be committed to selling something he didn't intend to due to a poorly worded ad.

If someone mistypes and puts a rifle up for $50 vs. $500 and I do a quick "I'll take it", I don't really expect them to honor the $50 price. Accidents happen, it's not like they shared pm's, came to terms and then one party pulled out.

I do have a question though, like the above poster, does the $850 include all the reloading accessories?

But most importantly.....Merry Christmas!!

It is very clearly stated in the post at the top of this page; He will split only if the RIFLE sells first. Don't get on the seller because you don't read the CAPITAL print guys. Give the guy a break.

Thanks guys, i appreciate your words of advice. you're right, i accidentally was unclear about the deal but it was originally stated in the original post that I would sell it only if i sold the rifle first. thanks gentlemen and have a Merry Christmas!

Also, the $850 is for the rifle/scope combo and does not include all of the reloading material. I will include everything (including rifle, scope and reloading supplies) for an even $1000 and i'll pay shipping to your FFL

Thanks,
Simon
