I was on the upstairs of our barrack. We were rained out of training. I don't recall his name, but I recall his face well.
Remember where you were?

First grade. I remember our teacher, Mrs. Gray, walking into the classroom, bawling her eyes out. Class was dismissed for the day.

Sleeping after working third shift at the Farmall foundry and taking my two evening college classes. My room mate woke me up to tell me.

7th grade speech class and beautiful Leslie had just said she wanted to do me.
I didn't know whether to jump for joy or be sad.

I was on a Bucyrus Erie pushing asbestos fiber onto the loader conveyor 862 at Johns Manville. We all heard the steam whistle toot 5 times. Mr Slate waved us into the office.

In grade school in a one room (8 grades) country school in western Kansas. The phone rang, which was very rare. The teacher answered and listened and then told us. We were let go for the day.

2nd grade when the Principal announce over the intercom that the President of The United States has been shot and killed. It was quite an event for this Country. It happened right before Thanksgiving and the coverage lasted for days and the funeral was a big event as well. And for the life of me,I cannot believe George H. Bush,CIA Director couldn't remember where he was when it happened.....................

Junior high study hall. Mr. Lindeman came in and told us. I was standing over by the library shelves. I asked what kind of a gun they used. I was just curious, not meaning to be inappropriate, but he didn't see it that way.

Yokota AFB, Japan. We were rousted out at 0400 and had 30 minutes to report to the flight line with deployment bags. We did that, sat around for most of the day, were told to go back to the barracks and await further orders. Further orders never came, 3 days later we were back to normal operations.

Second grade--in the gymnasium at Forrestdale Elementary School having "gym" class.
As we were leaving a first grade class was coming in. A first grader that I knew came up to me and told me that President Kennedy had been shot.
I've thought about that. Me and the first grader who told me about it were little more than babies. But both of us understood that it was a very significant event. I remember the somber expression on his face when he was telling me about it.

In Biology Lab sophmore year of HS, the PA speaker came on suddenly with the news broadcast. From there to the auditorium for a football pep rally, the principal announced that JFK had been shot and that if he took the stage a second time that we'd know that he'd passed. Went to our next period class before being sent home for the day. Much paranoia that the Russians were involved and it would be the start of WW III.

On my way to camp, next day was opening day of gun deer season in NH. That sucked, only played funeral music on the radio and no TV was on. On the way home from camp, announced on the radio that Oswald had been shot in Dallas. The whole thing was a WTF event.....

Jacksoff Handy is right..............lots of us old folk here! I was in 4th grade on the playground when the teachers were saying President Kennedy was shot. I remember thinking "so what" I get shots and don't even cry anymore. It wasn't till i got home that my mom explained it to me.

College freshman, in the dormitory at Louisiana College, Pineville, LA. Remember a guy running down the hall, shouting, “They got him”; don’t think he liked JFK.
To where the Dems have evolved, seems to me JFK looks pretty good in retrospect.
Still way too much unknown about all that. Hope details eventually come out. Deep state has been around for a while. J. Edgar’s FBI, CIA and other alphabet agencies have been up to no good for decades. We need to clean house.
