Recommendations/suggestions for new scale to replace old RCBS/OHAUS 10-10? Prefer beam vs digital, low volume loader.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on what your needs are......I have a Lyman powder measure that works great but extruded powder hangs up except the SC and SSC. Never had the need for the digital dispenser. Alot of choices.

I've been using a cheap Hornady digital scale for many years and it's right there with my old 505. Hopefully, which I doubt others won't trample under foot compact scale I use..... but I doubt it.

I'm not really a big fan of the scales available these days. If I had to buy one today, RCBS, Lyman, and Redding would be the ones I'd look over. What's wrong with your 10-10?

Doubt you’ll find anything better than what you have now.

I use the Lyman 500 , most are similar these days with 2 sliding poises on notched beam. OHAUS is making the 5-0-5 again.
These two work fine up to 50 grains. I'd look for a black friday deal on one of the brands listed in this thread . Also a
set of M2 or Class 6 weights would be nice . Happy Shopping smile

If your 10-10 isn't working properly, I'd look for a good used Lyman M5.

A guy named Scott Parker does work "blueprinting" these older scales for even greater accuracy. He may be able to fix your 10-10 if that is the issue. A Google search may turn him up.

Too close for irons, switching to scope...
