Anyone have a Leupold 4x rimfire scope?
Leupold sets the parrelax for 60 yards on these. Sounds like a good rimfire scope. I have a Leupold 3X9 EFR and it works great, just wanting another 22 scope that is less money. Comments?
Thanks, Virgil B.

Keep in mind that Leu. and others will change the parallax in a scope for about $20! This means that you can take a nice variable and get it set to whatever you want really easy!

I happend to be using a 6X Leu that I got cheap on my .22 and I got tired of the parallax. Leu had it back in ten days and now I am all set.

If I were buying a new scope I would get a variable Leu and have them do it or maybe Premier reticules unless you want a big powerful scope with AO.

The bottom line is that the Leu rimfire scopes are not a good deal and the 4X limits you.

......I have several of the 3-9EFR and they work great but I have a old fingergroove 10-22 sporter that is nice and light and I put a 4x rimfire special on it and the scope looks sized right for the carbine and it is bright and the thinner duplex works great for small target area coverage and still shows up well enough for anything but late dusk hunting......I also have one of the discontinued 4x compacts the same size but for centerfire with a heavier duplex-normal and it's small size looks good and it is nice and bright for a light small scope and small light guns....HTH..good luck and good shooting!!!
