It feels like Trump's team might already have much of what they are requesting, but are hoping to show that the government is deliberately withholding exculpatory evidence. That sets up an outright dismissal for prosecutorial misconduct.

Well it might matter if it were not a kangaroo court. Seems like it would cause a mistrial if they refuse to up Discovery on those simple requests. Oddly it seems Pelosi destroyed all the information the phony J6 committee dug up. Seems that would be part of discovery also wouldn't it?

If they requested it, they already know the answers and are setting a perjury trap.

I look for them to deny any exculpatory evidence that the government was involved. This trial will have to be appealed and will prevail upon appeal. The judge has demonstrated deep prejudice and the prosecution has no case. This has been a great travesty of justice and will not stand.

I understand that if a defendant is charged, he is entitled to all evidence against or in his favor. If it is "classified" it is subject to review by the judge, and the attorneys, as to it's value to the defendant. Even if it is classified, if it favors the defendant, they/he is allowed to have it and present in a public trial. This is why a lot of cases of misconduct by government agents are not prosecuted. E

Best temper your expectations regarding discovery. Just like the Mueller report where all the attorneys destroyed phones and files, the J6 committee has also destroyed the evidence of their malfeasance.

A lot of people have to be jailed for this nonsense to end.

We have video tape evidence of people wearing ear pieces destroying property and shoving protesters against their will into the sacred grounds of the Capitol we own. The same evidence exists of police throwing smoke grenades into the crowd in order to promote chaos. There is evidence they coerced the crowd and of course there is the evidence of capitol police murdering an innocent unarmed woman in front of a swat team. There is a mountain of evidentiary testimony to the fact that law enforcement agencies were involved and they have admitted that.
