My local Sportsman's Warehouse has had it in stock for a while. They have quite a bit of it. Northern California.

Plus it is an eight ounce can now instead of 10

Believe most Scheels stores have Blackhorn the last few months for the bargain price of 10 bucks an ounce.
I found a can at a Walmart recently on clearance for 40 bucks.

The Walmart that used to carry it hasn't had any. Last I bought in a sporting goods store was 55.00. Used 777 before 209. When my 209 is gone will be looking for an alternative. White Hots maybe? Has anyone tried Shooters World? See they have a pellet form.
It doesn't matter how fast you miss.

If I have it right, Shooters World BP sub is repackaged American Pioneer Powder. I bought several pounds of the loose version when it was sold as Alliant Black MZ. It. was closed out at Sportsmans Warehouse for about $10 per pound. If Blackhorn doesn't come back to a reasonable price, I will go back to real black powder.

The problem is getting real Black Powder. No store carries it anymore around here.
Buy once, cry once.

Real BP or Pyrodex. Pyrodex is still pretty easy to find online. PV and Graf still get the real stuff in sometimes. Plus it is an eight ounce can now instead of 10 Daaaamn. Makes me glad I picked up a stash back when it was still $40/10oz. ☠️ I thought that was bad...

If you live in a state where you can use smokeless powder MLs, it’s well worth it to get into that game. Performance and price compared to BH209
I hunt in IL and MI so use smokeless in IL and use BH in MI same gun

It's good stuff but it's not worth that kinda money. When it hit $70 I went my back to loose 777.

It's a 9 day elk season here for MZ. So I figure I have at least the rest of the decade's worth of BH, that's of course if I draw, and the wolves haven't eaten everything. BorLoc's were 35 bucks for 15. Not too long ago that was a half gallon of semi-decent whiskey. Between licensing, gas, groceries, and a place to stay, this elk hunting thing is spendy.

Was in Scheels last week, whole shelf full at $40 / 10 oz bottle. More than I'd like to spend, but probably reasonable enough I'll go back and pickup a couple containers.

I bought a 5 lb sealed jug of BH209. Way more than I'll ever use. I'd be willing to sell a full pound for $100. I'll have to repackage. I live in southeast PA. Due to shipping restrictions, it will have to be an in-person transaction.
