No but I'm going to give some a try out of curiosity.

I like the idea of a .22 cal 80gr hunting bullet, but the high bc plastic tipped part seems a waste in a 223 if you're shooting at deer.

never saw an issue with the 80 grain A Max from Hornady. dropped several blacktails with those. worked fine in a 223... and really fine out of a 22.250. 1 in 7 twist on both calibers.

Could be just a revamp of that bullet then... It'd tickle me if someone just made a .224 80gr flat base sp.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I would imagine. The 80 A-Max was pretty stout. Where 75's would open up nicely in the PD towns, the 80's were never remotely close to explosive, even when launched 3,400 or more at the muzzle.

Do you think these will stabilize in a 22-250 with 8" twist?

Do you think these will stabilize in a 22-250 with 8" twist? It should be just fine. Hornady worked with Horizon to SAAMI the 22 Creedmoor based on this bullet and 1:8 twist. Lots of development with this bullet and field testing reports on their podcast.

Been running 70 gr accubonds at 3350 fps and love them

I wish they'd make a heavy interbond like that.
