Starky is the brand that I use so can’t help you but i really like mine. Molded in ear canal. Doesn’t fill up entire ear like molded in ear hearing aids do. You’re up early today?

I really like my Phonak hearing aides. Costco doesn't sell them. Which model? I tried the L70s for about a month, didn't feel like they lived up to their hype. I wasn't impressed with the "voice in a crowd" or the ability to control sudden loud noises. Road noise was killer. So I returned them for a refund. I'm waiting for my new insurance to kick in, it has a lower co-pay. Working on getting a pair of L90s after the first of the year. I do like the app with the ability to tweek the settings in different environments and being able to create new profiles. Or maybe I should just go to the gas station, I mean Costoco and get an over the counter pair... 🤭😛

I have Belltone hearing aids. They are ok. Were actually a bit cheaper also. Service has been very good. I do like that they are Wi-Fi enabled so phone calls go through making one usage much better.

I have UHC Medicare and grew weary of the process. The hearing aid “benefit” through an in network provider is no better than walking into Costco and buying them. And Costco is way ahead on service. Costco will set me back around $1700 for two and around $1600 to $1800 for in network provider. Walked in last week and set up a screening appt for 12/10, will have a fitting 12/19 and walk out with the hearing aids.

The L70 were $3300 for a pair out of pocket. I switched to UAW retirees Blue Cross Blue Shield that utilizes a plan through TruHearing. The new plan has a more in-depth evaluation, they are sending me to a ENT to make sure that there isn't an underlying medical condition causing the difference in loss between my left and right ear. The copay for the L90s which is a step up from the L70s will be $1300 for a pair. I probably could get them for free though the VA, I prefer to keep them out of my life unless absolutely necessary. I'm happy with the insurance I have and my medical providers.

I did out of pocket at an ENT's office. Resound GN. Best money I have spent on medical issues in a long time. I think I had one issue in three years and they covered it. A bonus the Dr's tech gals are young, pretty, and PHDs in the hearing field. Makes it quite pleasant to go there for checkups. The rechargeable batteries have never gone out in a long day. The charging dock is portable and can do three or four days worth of charging before plugging in again. Some insurance pays the whole charge and will go for new ones every two years. YMMV. RZ.

I really like my Phonak hearing aides. Costco doesn't sell them. Which model? If the model number is on the hearing aide case I sure can't read it. I received mine 2 years ago from the audiologist at Langley AFB's hospital. She told me Phonak's weren't available at any local stores so I had to mail them back myself if I had any problems or needed adjustments made. My local VA community based outpatient clinic has an audiology office and they have taken care of all my needs since I retired. I could not be happier with my VA care! So far..
