For long term storage, as in years, how do you store your primers and powder? Basements particularly.

What if you don’t have a basement?

Just an example. I thought all homes up north had basements. Where do you keep your primers and powder safe from moisture. So not a secret hiddy hole, just an area free of moisture and safe from elements. I keep my primers in a gun safe with a golden rod as an example.

Kinda hard to have a basement in my area since the normal ground water table is 4 ft.
Primers are kept in the house in a cabinet, powder is stored in the non temperature controlled garage in styrofoam coolers in a cabinet.

Ammo cans for primers.

I keep everything on the main level of the house so humidity isn’t all that high. Primers or 22 rimfire ammo that I know might sit for a long time I store in ammo cans for convenience as much as anything.
