Ok guys. I tried this awhile back with no luck. I tossed my truck gun in the back seat and when I took it back out the rear sight was broken. I just need the folding blade part. If anyone has one laying around or suggestions as to where I can find one it would be appreciated. I have tried numrich, browhells and midway

Thank
Steve

You can get a Marble rear fold down sight….. near the same thing, unless of course you’re particular about keeping it original.

Thanks olRufus. That may be an option if I can’t find an original

.
Another way to go is with a Skinner peep sight.
This is the "Alaskan" on a 336
You can drift out what's left of your buckhorn sight and use a Ranger Point Precision plug in its place.

I don’t think that’s an option. Mine is not drilled and tapped. But thanks

If it’s not drilled and tapped then I don’t think the fold down sight is original to it anyway. Models back that early just had a fixed v-notch with an elevator.

Skinner makes a barrel/dovetail mounted peep too. Getting one for my 94 Big Bore

It says 336 sc. serial #F 93xx. Not drilled or tapped and has a waffle top. So I’m not sure if it’s original or not

I found this in a bag marked 336. It appears to be the same as on my 1955 336.
