Had one of these installed on my old trusty Ruger M-77 in .270 Winchester that had a shot out factory barrel and am quite happy with it. The 5R rifling they use has definitely been a upgrade with the easy cleaning & increased velocity.

Any other members have one installed?

I have one in a Rem 700 .30-06, but it was installed over 10 years ago so I don't know that it has 5R rifling. It shoots well though.

Have used many of their barrels in many different calibers. They all shoot great.

Have been using them the past few years on various rifles, every one has been excellent. They are my #1 choice for anything I build or have rebarreled these days. Break in quickly, clean up easily and all are very accurate.

I first heard of them around 2010 when a member of this forum was winning some 1000 yard matches with a Benchmark barreled 300 WSM. They must have been a new company then because their prices were lower than most. So I ordered a stainless #2 in .270 barrel and "Redneck" a member of the forum who is now retired installed it on a M70.
I love this rifle and plan on keeping it in the family after I'm gone. I think it shoots as well as most hunters could hope for, It has grouped 5 shot MOA groups into targets out to 400 yards, and that's with a scope topping out at only 10x. Mine has 4 groove rifling.

I have three, none of which are the 5R but they are good barrels. I am not a rider on the 5R bandwagon. GD

Many have had good luck with them. I have had two and both shot less than what I was expecting and hoping for.

They went down the road and others I tried did shoot the way I wanted.

Just luck of the draw I guess.
