I just bought the Remington 700 Classic 250 savage that was in here last week. It was made in 1984
And that’s the year I was born. Was wanting to find a nice gloss Leupold to go on it. According to Leupold website, the code for a 1984 scope has is an “R” prefix.

Let me know if you have one to part with. I have several scopes I can trade or can buy if reasonable.

Also looking for gloss Leupold or Weaver rings/basesto go with it.

One or two piece bases? I probably have both rings and bases. Height on rings (medium I assume).

Doesn’t matter to me on bases/rings. Just want to make sure they are older to go with the era of the gun.

Looked through my gloss Leupolds, closest I have is an “S”.
