Given it is racist to question anyone about how they identify themselves, next time I fly Southwest I'm identifying as super fat and going with a whole row all to myself. It's only fair, your racist if you disagree. Solution is to require the super fat to purchase an extra seat, you know, much like freight.
I'm small and flew a lot with work. Numerous times I was sat next to a ++sized person. Even got called up to the gate for a seat change. I wrote and complained I was being discriminated against and felt the actions of the airlines was class action suit worthy. I received a nicely written reply.

Southwest provided its policy to Fox Business which said that passengers of size "have the option of purchasing just one seat and then discussing your seating needs with the Customer Service Agent at the departure gate. If it’s determined that a second (or third) seat is needed, you’ll be accommodated with a complimentary additional seat."
The flight team will then try to effort to make the seating arrangements, potentially moving other passengers around for the "unplanned accommodation."
The policy states, "Customers who encroach upon any part of the neighboring seat(s) may proactively purchase the needed number of seats prior to travel to ensure the additional seat(s) is available… The purchase of additional seats serves as a notification of a special seating need and allows us to adequately plan for the number of occupied seats onboard." Given it is racist to question anyone about how they identify themselves, next time I fly Southwest I'm identifying as super fat and going with a whole row all to myself. It's only fair, your racist if you disagree. Solution is to require the super fat to purchase an extra seat, you know, much like freight.

I think if enough people "identify as fat", this policy will go away quickly. I got big shoulders. I sure heck will encroach on a neighboring seat.

My father and I flew to San Antonio on Southwest. They put some poor, small lady beside us, in the aisle seat. Now my Dad wasn't much smaller than my 200 pounds, so I traded seats with the woman, and leaned into the aisle - all the way from Albuquerque to San Antonio. I don't remember the actual flight time, but it was the longest week I ever spent on an aircraft! The next day, I could kind of get up straight, again. Every since, I do my darnedest to stay off of Southwest, and out of their dinky little seats.

I predict Southwest will lose their ass to these +P lardbutts N0, because all of the more normal size passengers will help offset the extra cost to SW by paying slightly more per seat. Nothing is free. Yep. Law of supply and demand. More “passengers of size” will fly southwest in “appreciation of their more inclusive stance.” (I typed that with a lisp!) They’ll sell fewer tickets and then have to raise prices to offset the loss. Then they will be discriminating against “people of size,” because no one else will be flying Southwest. And let’s discuss “passengers of size!” Isn’t everyone “of size.” The law of physics would seem to say yes. Just not everyone is a “passenger of VW-Bug size!”

"People of size" huh...funny how the average normal person keeps having to cater to everything that is abnormal, instead of the other way around.
And for what it is worth, Andre the Giant is a "Person of size"...the other is a short fat gnome.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I heard that SW puts all of these people on the starboard side...where they've added an extra engine.

I predict Southwest will lose their ass to these +P lardbutts Nope. The prices of tickets of everybody else will go up commensurately to offset the "empty (non-purchased)" seats.
