First cup @ 03:30. The beauty of night shift. When you are off for vacation, the inability to sleep like a normal person is next to impossible!

Went back to a 40 hour work week last week volunteering labor/shop foreman on my Cheslight (aka Papa Bear).
Very weird getting up on a schedule anymore... I was up at 4:50 today sorting out tasks, details, materials, CDL driver's for the crane etc.
But having a great deal of fun... so there is that.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

I’ve been lucky. I can sleep whenever…
I’ve worked 6-6 days and nights.
12-12 days and nights.
I think i sleep better during the day for some reason..
Worked nights in college.. get odd looks buying beer at 7am. 😂😂

I was on call last night (radiology) called in 7 times between 5:30 - 3:30 and just started another 10 hour day.
Today is definitely going to be a multiple cup coffee day! Lol

Most days I get a bathroom call at 5 a.m. and then can't get back to sleep. Been retired for 30 years but still can't shake the early riser syndrome.
