I'm looking for a new spotter, the old one just isn't getting it done anymore and the focus ring is getting hard to use. Will be used for target shooting to 300 yards looking at critters to 500 yards checking out the moon I'm thinking about this one, any suggestions or reviews? https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/leupold-sx-2-alpine-spotting-scope

A gently used Athlon Ares Gen2 is ridiculously good at that price point. That’s what Doug recommended when I was buying earlier this fall. It didn’t disappoint

I have a lightly used leupold gold ring 12-40 I’d sell for that price. Upgraded earlier this year at the leupold just sits in case collecting dust
