wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

Thinking I might try to heat my garage with it when I am tinkering on something. read one guy saying he heated a 2000sq ft cabin with one.

If combustion is involved, be sure to vent exhaust.

I got a couple, love them ones in the boat - one still in box ! I burn only K1, so cleaning it has been nonexistent ...

The exhaust don't like turns, and the mufflers are not sealed..I I don't use muffler... 3/4 conduit makes great exhaust tubing...

good to know, one thing for sure, a carbon monoxide detector is going to be sitting next to it

Trying to figure out the best way to vent it. Exterior of the garage is brick, not sure I want to cut a hole, probably will go out a window and build a frame around it

looking at it online, I found this as part of the advertising for it.

They present an image of people having a lot more faith in that it than I ever would.

such as heating a car with a baby in it

Maybe a 200 sq cabin. Only a tard would think you could heat a 2000sq ft cabin.

They work. They go out. Espar for the win.

yea that's a pretty big ask, most of the time the application is an RV or box truck. I would hope it would cover a decent temp in a garage

It might take the chill off if pointed right at you. I run the espar d2 in the boats. It keeps up and I have roughly 56sq feet. I am guessing they are good to about 80-100sq feet of poorly insulated area. Maybe double if well insulated.

I was just in a 275sq log cabin a few hours ago. No way would a diesel heater of that size work.

I’m building my enclosed trailer into a mobile hunting camp but I’m on the fence about these. The reviews are all over but the biggest complaints seem to be with the Amazon no name units. Many say they won’t warranty them. One thing about the all in one enclosed units is that the diesel is inside the space with you so there’s the smell/mess. I’m leaning towards something other than a diesel heater.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

honestly I wouldn't have bought one for full price but this was an auction where I got it for less than $60 brand new.

I had been reading about them for awhile where people were putting them in vans and campers.

They are really gaining popularity amoung ice fisherman and I'm sure a lot of the Facebook groups as well as other fishing forums will give you a lot of information. I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet but there are a lot of mods to quiet them down.

well that's part of the reason I bought the heater, I'm moving the tractor to the garage so continue the restoration / repair, plus I have two honda riding mowers that I want to work on before spring too

I've seen those. People seem to like them and say they're great on fuel. I'm fixing to make a waste oil burner to heat my garage with a 55 gal drum, vent, etc... Lots of youtube videos on it and shops around here pay places to take their waste oil.
