This one is brand new, never mounted. I bought if from Ruger awhile back and the barreled action I bought if for shot so good in the synthetic stock I never bothered to use this one. This one has very nice wood grain. The only thing that keeps it from being perfect is that the front sling swivel stud was not installed when I received it from Ruger, just a dummy screw. This will fit the 270, 30-06, 257 Roberts long actions etc,
