You are correct, they would fill the checkering if requested.

I doubt they do it currently, but they were quite willing to inlet the Sako Classic for the M70. Their only caveat was that by the time the tang area was contoured properly, the checkering pattern didn't match up well. They were willing; and then they weren’t. The last time I had them do some for me prior to the change in ownership, it was an upcharge of $100.

This isn't for an EW, but I just received a Wildcat Composite (18.6 oz) stock for a M70 in. This is my first one, but I like the FWT pattern stocks so I imagine I'll love it. I'll post pictures once I get it finished out. Was Stuart able to figure out a way to get these across easily, or was there a ton of paperwork?

They built a warranty replacement stock for me and I asked Lynn if I could pick it up unpainted, bed the action and bottom metal and then bring iit back for paint, no problem... That was right before the sale. They did a great job with the paint, but charged $35 to tape off the bedding when I brought it back under new ownership.

My buddy already had the forms started and I had him add my stock on to his.

what is the wait time and cost of those stocks ?
Hal I latched onto the order my buddy was doing. I sent the mone on Sept 20th, and the stocks arrived Dec 15th. My stock was $375, it'll probably be north of $700 finished.

Are people here really spending good money to replace the current FN/BACO OEM B&C stock?

GR I have replaced a few of them.. Grips way too chubby and short for my big paws. My other good buddy, doesn’t mind them a bit. It’s worked out well for both of us.

GR It was either that or sell the rifle. I hated the B&C stock that much.
