Folks,
I picked up a few pounds of Varget at a show Saturday-wondering if anyone uses it in .243? I shoot Hornady 65 grain VMax for coyotes and Nosler 90 or 95 grain Ballistic Tips for deer.
The rifle is a Ruger No.1a bedded and free floated.
Thank you in advance for your time, help and consideration.

I had plans to try it with the heavies before it got scarce.

Picked up 3 lbs recently so I might give that a thought again.

I've been pretty happy with Varget and 80 gr Ballistic Tips in my 243. I use mostly Hunter and I4350 with heavier bullets. I've not played with the 65 grainers.

70-75’s in 2 different 243’s sucked. 90-100 accuracy was there but a real pooch. 105 showed better but again a pooch.
IMO Varget works in about everything but excels at nothing. Got 4 pounds left never to buy again.

I've seen Varget work really well with 70 grainers.

I surpassed 4000 fps with 55 gr Nosler ballistic tips and Varget and it was quite accurate.

Hodgdon mentions shows loads with Varget for bullets from 55 grains to 107 grains.

Agree...........jack of all trades, master of none. However, it works very for me with a 22-250 and 40 grain BT's, and a 308 and 150's. Never tried it in a 243, because W760 is the king of the bullet weights from 90 and below.
