Last fall I sold my A2 Dumpling as I wanted to move to a stainless steel which I would be more comfortable taking on a boat. I love that design, as I am a waterfowler and it works great on big honkers, as well as the walleye I go after on the water. It’s such a versatile knife. A few months back, I asked Clint Chisan if he could do up something similar with some subtle changes. I wanted it to match my skinner color wise, be in 3/32” magnacut, 5” full flat grind, a little more substantial handle, and have elements of both a Dumpling and a Dozier K-23 Filet which I love. Clint did me up a sketch that nailed what I was wanting, and started to make er up. Got pics a couple of days ago. Clint is a pleasure to deal with and does quality work. I am pleased.

If you keep posting stuff like this his wait time on new orders is going to be forever! smile

That is similar to my Nicholas Smith boner. It has a tad wider blade and beefier scales than my pair of dumplin's. Yer gonna love it...

Don, that bottom blade is in my opinion, the perfect knife for all big game. I think they are great for birds and trout too. Dang that sucker is purty.

Thought I’d add one last pic of the two knives from Clint side by side. In many of the pics it looked as long as a samurai sword, but it’s not. LOL.

That's a beautiful pair, sns. Not too far from my Rick Menifee duo.

Still have one of Rick’s Bose Drop Point Hunters in the drawer. Will not be going anywhere. It is as perfect a hunting knife as has ever been made. Rick’s sets are what I had in mind when I was ordering from Clint cool

Now those are beautiful knives. I’m going to have to break down and order one of those. I have 1 fixed blade of his and 2 folders. Hard to beat.
