Just picked up a box of these 410 gr. .458 Sub-x. Looking to run them hotter than subsonic velocities out of a Marlin. Anyone found any load data for running the Sub-x fast(er)?

No but I wish I could find more of those. My H&R 45-70 absolutely loves this ammo

Anyway 40 grains of 3031 will push them about 1,400

I’ve only loaded them with 5744 to subsonic velocity. They shoot well out of my 1895 Trapper.

I've shot the factory Sub-X ammo and it was impressive. I've now handloaded a couple of different powders and will be trying them next week. Looking forward to it!

I would think 405 grain jacketed bullet data should work if you start at the starting charge. Rick
