We had to downsize this year with a little 4' artificial that sits up high where our pup can't reach it. He's a world-class chewer.

when its our turn to host the whole family we do it big - I get out the big 8 footer tree , the giant nutcracker soldiers, wreaths, garland, lights outside
in the off years, I have a janky big lots tree I bought 20 years ago with half the lights burned out that is like 5 foot tall, and I have two grapevine wreaths I put on the front doors. Decorating is all of 20 minutes. This year I dragged it out of the box, it had like a 2 foot strand of garland on it, I just left it on there and no other ornaments. By 4pm on Xmas day, it will all be back in the attic
