2500# winch (not wench) for the 4 wheeler, coffee grinder & coffee. But the best gift was spending time with family and the new grandson.
Every year for the past 30 or so we have our family candle burning time. I go over the reason we are here and what the parts of our celebration mean. The same candle is lit to signify the coming of Christ into the world and moving darkness away. The Christmas story from Luke is read followed by whoever is there giving Christmas wishes/prayer/hope for all the others in the coming year. It can get teary eyed. We close in prayer and blow out the candle until next year. Still, that candle burns in our spirit. We usually have face time visitors with both family and friends joining. All in all it is a great escape from the commercialization of Jesus’ birth. This year felt special for multiple reasons. It’s what I look forward to most about Christmas.
Just a side note if any here enjoy church services at this time of the year check coe22.com and view the sermon by Joby Martin from Christmas Eve
“When Tyranny becomes Law, Rebellion becomes Duty”
Colossians 3:17 (New King James Version) "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Momma got a new vacuum. Not from me! From the oldest daughter. LOL. I bought Momma a whole bunch of new tools to go in her craft/hobby room.......so she can quit raiding my gun/reloading room. LOL
Yes, I mentioned on the other thread. I took care of me. I have been dreaming of a Doppler chronograph for years. Garmin finally made one to suit my requirements.

My mom gave me a bottle of Scotch, Compass Box Hedonism. Damn good stuff. Also got some clothes I asked for from my wife and a New Mexican cookbook that looks interesting. I didn't ask for much, not a lot that I want or need right now.

Of the fun stuff - a bottle of Old Forester 1910 and a High West Rendezvous Rye Limited Supply. Both are really good, under-rated whiskies and I was very glad to see them pop up.

Best gift ever. Quiet day at home with Carolyn and Tiger. Nice and relaxed. Haven't done gifts in so long can't recall when. No TV sports or crud on. Though we did rest and watch a couple paddle through the height of land in Canada for almost 2.5 hours which was very relaxing. TV off again.
Guilty of searching for a used Tundra on the computer though this morning.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
