Here is a very nice Finnish Mosin VKT rebuild using a US Westinghouse receiver. Bore is very nice w/strong lands, no rust, not counter bored, just a slight bevel at the end, crown cut, to clean muzzle up. (as usual with Finn barrels, should make a great shooter)

Receiver: 05578 1915-1918 Westinghouse E w/arrow on top of tang.
Barrel: 05578 VKT 1940 SA and (D) marked. Import marked r/s behind frt sight, bluing under wood is great, no rust, only worn at import mark.
Stock: 2 piece spliced, no cracks, Finn Depot marked AV.3 26432 on r/s, unnumbered butt plate with what looks like a T over an A at bottom?, and some slight corrosion on top. Handguard has 3 copper rivets on ea end. Finn sling hangers. Wood could use a little cleaning but will leave that to next caretaker.
Bolt: 05578 (renumbered) this and all other bolt pieces are Russian, along with bottom metal. Some pieces have the Imperial pattern "bow and arrow" marking (used before 1928 and early 1928), along with the early Tula mark of just a hammer.
