Now that they've been out for a while, how is anyone who has used the CVA Cascade been liking them?

I don't own one but I did look at a couple in a LGS yesterday. Decent looking rifles but what I did notice is when you open the bolt, any extra lift and the bolt gets real sticky. Meaning hard to pull to the rear like ejecting a spent round. I didn't like that at all. I tried it on three rifles and all three were the same..

Their Cerakote quality leaves much to be desired. Probably not prepped right. Looked at one in a shop and some of the finish was worn off just from normal customer handling. Who knows what would happen in hunting use.

For the same price range there are much better options.

Used mine for two seasons now. Zero issues of any kind. Mine as well as others I’ve been around are as good now as when new.

Awesome. happy to hear they are holding up. Although grateful for the criticisms etc too.

They're at the local shop for a good price, including a couple interesting variations. They get someone thinkin. But I really wanted to hear how they are doing years after release.

I love my 350L CVA. Very accurate but is a little chubby in girth and weight. I had a 308 SB also that went down the road. I just never got it to shoot as well as I hoped but that can be said for a couple 308's (rant for another thread). The bolt is a poor design and very heavy.

I like the Cascades but would get a Tikka any day over the CVA.
