I'm all for giving homeowners and self-defenders every benefit of the doubt, but this is ridiculous.

He broke every rule of handling a firearm , it's people like him who make the gun community look like a bunch of heathens.

My thought, exactly. He belongs in prison. And that's from someone who always tries to see things from the armed defender's perspective. No excuse for what he did. Thank God he didn't kill him.

And that's not to excuse the stupid move on the pool cleaner's part of showing up after dark and not informing anyone he was heading out there.

If one of my chickens doesn't show up in the hen house after dark, and it's because she somehow got stuck in my neighbor's yard, I always text and get an acknowledgment from him before I go into his backyard with a flashlight looking for my hen, and I do this for fear of being shot.

Indeed he does , pure luck that the lad is alive.

LOL. You mean the hair? He mentioned once that the explanation is that he lost a bet. I expect that after January 1st, we will see him wearing his usual hairstyle.

Lol. I’d bet that dude has drugs in the house. More than a little.

Are you referring to the homeowner who shot at the pool guy, or Jesus at the dinner theater playhouse?

Lol. Homeowner.

Greasey Jesus has Twinkies stashed, not drugs.

The homeowner couldn't even see the "bad guy." The blinds were closed, he heard noise and could see glimmers of light through the closed blinds. So he emptied a 30 round mag from an AR right through the door and windows. What a dumbass.

All he had to do was knock on the door. If it was too late for that, he shouldn't have been messing around in someone's back yard with a flashlight.

Isn’t illegal in Florida to shoot at a man outside you house without checking to see if he is black?

Chances are the husband canceled an out of town trip and the wife didn't have time to let the pool guy know.

They should know that those rules don't apply at 10:00 PM.

If my lawn guy showed up after dark I'd tell him to come back during the day. Same goes for the pool guy, how's he supposed to clean a pool in the dark?
