Beretta shooter wins it for me. A good Banana cream pie is tough to beat. Love me some scalloped taters too. Thanks, not gonna lie though....the banana cream pie is Marie Calenders. Everything else is real

Don’t know about traditional but smoking a 4 rib roast I picked up cheap after Christmas. I hit the local grocery store and buy up 5-6 and smoke them throughout the year.
My buddy from Georgia turned me on to collards on New Year’s Day. That’s the side with the rib roast

Not real hungry, might grab a bowl of cereal or something. The wife died of ovarian cancer 2weeks ago so it's going to be a quiet new year.

I've got the pork roast thawed, collard greens, black-eyed peas ready for the crock pot and the cornbread ready to mix and bake. I'll start it all in the morning, early. One of my favorite meals all year. Been having this same meal forever on NYD. Who else and what do you have? Carolina boy!

Not real hungry, might grab a bowl of cereal or something. The wife died of ovarian cancer 2weeks ago so it's going to be a quiet new year. Geez, beaver_shooter. So sorry for your loss. Hold onto those good thoughts, my friend When you get to feeling a little better, try this. it's delicious and addicting. Easy to make. Ingredients: 1 lb lean ground beef 2 small onions, chopped 1 cup green bell pepper 1 cup long grain white rice 2 cups water 1 tbsp Tony's Creole seasoning 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 (15.5 ounce) cans black-eyed peas If desired, add 1/2 can of Cento D.O.P. or Tutorella Italian peeled whole plum tomatoes, chopped into smaller pieces. Directions: 1. Crumble the ground beef into a deep skillet or large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onions and green pepper. Cook and stir until beef is evenly browned. Drain the grease. 2. Add the rice and water to the pan and season with Tony's Creole seasoning, pepper, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce the hear to low. Simmer for 30 minutes until the water is abosorbed. About halfway through coooking the rice, stir in the black-eyed peas. Enjoy.

Used to be a pork roast with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes
But this year it’s sauerkraut balls and I can’t wait.

Usually do the pork and sauerkraut....this year be different.
Picked up 2 5lb baby back ribs.
Baked beans with brown sugar, bacon, maple syrup, more beans more bacon soaking in the fridge for tomorrow. Never made baked mac and cheese...searching now for a good recipe online. Pretty sure I have all ingredients.
