Limbsaver advertises pre-fit recol pads for most Remington stocks including the synthetics. That stock if a synthetic is probably a SPS, the stock with the three cooling air slots per side and two posts on the forearm.

The LVSF stock is a Bell & Carlson stock not a Tupperware one. However, it is listed in the guide you posted. I had mine replaced by Remington a few years ago due to the defective melting Limbsaver.

If it's a factory LVSF stock that B&C supplied (the pad is screwed on and has the stepped down section that fits inside the stock) the Limbsaver #10816 is a nice fit.

Has anyone had a replacement pad melt or has Limbsaver fixed the problem?

I replaced the one on mine with a Limbsaver. Can't remember the number, but I used their chart as a reference. It was an easy fix.

No problems with the ones I've replaced.

The replacement that the Remington repair center used did not appear to be a Limbsaver. That being said, I've used several Limbsaver pads since without issues.
