I am sure these have been discussed at some point but couldn’t find much solid info What are thoughts on these bullets,both for shooting and hunting,I have a surplus in .284 140 grain Anybody have any pet loads for these in 7-08 Thanks Houston

I think they are essentially the same as regular ballistic tips but just with different colors. I think you would load them just like you would regular 7mm 140 grain BT's.
I load 140 grain Ballistic Tips with 48.0 grains of Big Game in my 7mm08 Rem 700 Mountain Rifle for about 2850 fps with good accuracy.

I’ve found them to be a little “slicker” with that lubalox coating. If that makes any sense.
