When I was a little boy, my parents took me to the circus in the coliseum of the bigger town next to us. It was all great! But when a real gorilla got loose and climbed up into the spectator seating, things got REAL entertaining real quick!  I still remember that. I had to have been around 5 years old at the time. Good times!

Took the kids to the circus when they were young. We were seated about halfway up the bleachers when they brought out the elephants to trot around the ring. One of the male elephants became sexually excited and his enormous member was swinging back and forth between his back legs and slinging goo all over the people in the front rows. They had to bring out the hooks to get him out of the ring.
Should've seen all the people wiping elephant [bleep] off their faces. I LOL'd.

That said, I once attended the Moscow Circus, Soviet Era, which was far better than any home-grown one I’ve been to.
My most memorable circus performance was the one when my son, aged maybe 4, threw up cotton candy all over my white shirt and I had to carry him half way around the three rings to the bathroom to get us cleaned up.
What fresh Hell is this?

Which end was bearded? Seriously tho, I have never been a fan of circuses, but I enjoyed seeing my kids' wide-eyed wonder when they were little. Worth the price of admission.

I always thought it was great excitement to watch a lion or tiger suddenly "go native" and rip the head off its trainer. Very entertaining!  L.W.
