Took the kids to the circus when they were young. We were seated about halfway up the bleachers when they brought out the elephants to trot around the ring. One of the male elephants became sexually excited and his enormous member was swinging back and forth between his back legs and slinging goo all over the people in the front rows. They had to bring out the hooks to get him out of the ring.
Should've seen all the people wiping elephant [bleep] off their faces. I LOL'd. In keeping with the question of the thread, I guess that elephant's wang would qualify as your favorite "thing" at the circus. Meat gazer 😂 Mom's were shielding their kids eyes from the spectacle.

The spherical cage with 2 motorcycles running hard in it. Plenty of G force for them to do anything at any time. Amazing that they didn't hit each other.

When i was a kid the circus would come to our small town..
Of course, not ringlin barnum…. Prolly Clydes or something… 😂😂
One of the circus trucks got stuck in a ditch amd they hooked elephants to it to pull it out.
Made our county paper - front page…
Only been to Ringlin Barnum once… early 90’s or so..
Reunion Arena in Dallas…. Fun to see.
Modern day?
The Circus Soliel is pretty cool to see..

the George Cardin circus pretty big deal actually I think. is actually housed in station just a mile or two from my ex-wife .. what's happened to be where she grew up. I can remember hunting around there and bow hunting and everything and you could hear a lion roar and absolutely what's in chills up your spine . Ohio lottery now mine son daughter long grandkids live with her in that same spot even though she can take care of herself she just a lazy [bleep] bitch.. I guess that's the point of that

Might also mention that Ringling Brothers kept some of the animals in Montana during the summer, at a small town 45 miles from Bozeman named (appropriately) Ringling, where the elephants were used to plow grainfields. There ain't much left of Ringling anymore.... So elephants were historically used as beasts of burden in Montana. Who knew?

Freak shows? If you want to see the fat man, go to Walmart If you want to see the bearded lady, go to any liberal city If you want to see the tattooed man, go anywhere that men won't be wearing shirts (applies to women, too)
Many of what used to be called freaks are now commonplace.

Acrobats clowns Freakshow the food Lion tamers elephant tricks
Others?
Just that The end. Not a big fan in the least. Rather sit in on a garage band's first rehearsal. Or listen to 3 tactidooshes talk about the 6.5 creedmurh. Circus' suck.
Quit giving in inch by inch then looking back to lament the mile behind ya and wonder how to preserve those few feet left in front of ya. They'll never stop until they're stopped. That's a fact.
