Replace the Mayo with mustard, and it sounds like a sandwich I have often.

Cold spam, butter , mustard on white bread.
That’s the spam sandwich I grew up with.

I need to buy some. I haven't had it since I lived in Korea nearly a decade ago. It is cherished there and offered as holiday gifts.

I take the spam light single packs on hikes. I eat 1 1/2 packs, and my lab gets a 1/2. Light to carry and no mess. I did put it on a stick on a fire, but that fire making usually takes too long for me. Tastes better with that fire smoke though. Now I'll probably have to make a fire.

That's how I like spam. ^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^ But I'd substitute Heinz Ketchup for the Tabasco.

I like my Spam like Brother Jim except I’m substituting the spam for smoked breakfast sausage.

I grew up with Spam sandwiches. Fried Spam with lots of black pepper, mayo on toasted bread, dill pickles and sprinkled with Louisiana Hot Sauce. Sometimes add cheese or jalapeños. My family loves baked Hickory Spam with brown sugar yellow mustard sauce served over long grain rice. Sometimes make baked BBQ Spam. with large can of Bush’s baked beans. Quick easy meals. Middle son used to go to Haiti on mission trips and would take 12 cans of Spam with him. Towards the end of the week, was offered $20 a can. Said the island has little or no wildlife nor many fish. Poverty is such locals have killed most of the wildlife on land and sea. Said they ate mostly chicken dishes there and they were like the fighting roosters. When they finished their plates, the locals would eat every scrap, bones and all.

Spam, the original product, is a hands down favorite for lunch. The various 'flavors' and the gag inducing 'lite' stuff is not so good. One favorite is to grind up the Spam and make Spam salad sandwiches.

Wife use to make "Hawaiian sandwiches". Burger bun, Spam, pineapple ring & sharp cheddar cheese. Throw them under the broiler open face, Spam one side cheese and pineapple on the other, till the spam sizzled and cheese melted................Yum!

About every six weeks I’ll slice up a can and fry the slices. For the next six days my breakfast will be a slice on half a toasted bagel with a slice of processed cheese. It never gets old.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.
