Up for your consideration is a stock for a Remington 700 sporter weight barrel. Stock weighs 25.7 ounces with an aluminum pic rail for a bipod, on a standard kitchen scale. I do not know who manufactured it, but I’ve shot it on a 35 Whelen and a 257 weatherby with no issues. Has the notch for a peep sight, like older guns. Has a good pachmayer decelerator pad. A few members may know who built this stock, I’ll answer what questions I can. 450$ tyd

At that weight, it's probably a B&C, if it was HS Precision, it would say so on the recoil pad. A Grayboe would be a little heavier.

Do you have a better picture of the inlet (maybe flashed?) and also of the bolt cut out? I’m not sure yet what it is, but this is likely a good deal for someone.

B&C should have pillars; can’t tell if it does - you’re eyes may be better!

I’ve never seen a B&C this light, this scope is lighter than McMillan’s advertised hunters edge sporter.

That looks an MPI classic style to me. The weight is just about right too.

Probably a Richard Scott stock - the man who started High Tech Specialties in Janesville, CA. I believe Mark bought the business and moved it back East somewhere- I got a few of Dick Scott rifles and they are something special - light weight - good balance-
