Good value? Or swill?
Mathman, if you see this, our tastes seem to be somewhat similar when it comes to brown liquors, so hopefully you chime in.

What in the world is "bottled with bond"?

Kirkland booze is not allowed here in Texas or in Idaho.

I'd take WT 101 or Early Times BiB over the Kirkland as a daily drinker.

I"ve had it at camp. Not quite my pick. But its plenty good enough. I head some say it equals Crown and that may explain why its far from the top in my list. But again it depends... drinking straight it has to be really smooth for me. Mixing it can be others. My current mixer is either WT101 or Evan Willians bottled in bond. Both are more than good enough.
And unfortunately in the end you really have to sample yourself or know someone that has similar tastes. I can almost call it for my best friend. But we are polar opposites on bourbon taste.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

It is only occasionally available here, but a good deal when it is. IIRC it was $25 for a liter. It is not incredible or particularly deep and the rye does not make much of statement. I think it is about 20% rye. But I have paid a lot more for a lot less.

So, depending on how it tastes, could be good value.

Jeff I think you are mixing the Costco Canadian with the BIB bourbon. It is the Canadian that was being made by Crown and tastes so much like it. But a celebratory thimble full at the right moment do beat all!

Kirkland booze is not allowed here in Texas or in Idaho. Because these are truly "free" states with free markets. Nothing to see here.

The Kirkland BIB you speak of is excellent and a tremendous value in my opinion. If it was still available in my neck of the woods I would lay into a few more cases In that run they released 3 different styles Small Batch Bottled in Bond Single barrel They are are very good but the single barrel is a bit strong for my taste
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..
