Byrd has a long history of belonging to leftist organizations. In 2019 he left his Glock in a bathroom and it was later discovered in a security sweep. He was not punished. After the shooting, he was given free housing on the Washington Naval base. I believe he is still living there on the tax payer dime.

Similar to Ruby Ridge, the only way any victim got any justice for outright murder of near an entire family was to sue. That case also cost US millions. However killing citizens by the US Government has become a sanctioned sport.

Was the case referred to the grand jury? I never heard. No. He was pardoned by Nancy Pelosi about a week after it happened. I'm sure she stopped any and all investigations at that point. I understand he was living in on post military housing for several months after it happened to keep him "safe". kwg
