Had one at a county fair booth in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Tasted like old fryer oil and gave me a serious case of the explosive shìts. Learned my lesson that day: never eat a fried Oreo from a rundown food trailer in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

What a great pic, and it really opened the memory gates for me and my wife. Our boy was about 5 or so when we discovered them

Point Pleasant is an interesting town. They had a terrible tragedy there, a bridge collapsed and killed a bunch of people. So the townsfolk did the natural thing, and turned it into a cash grab by spreading tales of "The Mothman" monster, who either did it, or predicted it, or just scared the hell out of everybody.

Right off the town square near the Mothman statue (yes, their town square has a statue of a made-up monster), there's a gift shop with an old dude who has an Elvis haircut, who will tell you all about the Mothman if you buy a t shirt. Just don't go in there for the Mothman story if you've got the deep fried Oreo shìts.

...and corn.

In the late 90's, I spent a few days in Wisconsin at the Weyerhaeuser plant in Marshfield.

I swear they incorporated corn and cheese into every mealtime, three times a day.

LBP - you'd like it there.

Hubba hubba! grin
