Trump's thing is to be surrounded by very smart people. But he also needs to be the boss and I think he and vivek would clash. I'd say he would appoint Vivek as a head of some department like human resources so he could fire half the useless govt workers. hah. My pick would be a woman like Noem. he dont like the smell of curry

Vivek said that he would not run as VP.
He's playing for the no# 1 spot. Would not entertain being on "Trumps ticket".

FWIW.

It's politics, if he said it won't happen, then it means maybe.

Great guess dave!

She is someone he can definitely trust. As well as someone that can carry the banner forward after his term for another 8 years.
Agreed here… another couple I’d be comfortable with would be Dan Patrick the Lt. Gov. Of Texas or Mike Pompeo.

I think he feels he has to say that otherwise, no one would show up to vote for him

Guy isn't stupid, he knows that he'd be next in line for 2028.

I have to believe he'd take it in a heartbeat.

And I don't recall Trump ever having a bad word to say about him....yet

That said, Vivek probably also realizes that being VP to Trump for 4 years will be an incredibly hard job. Personally I think Vivek would be a great AG

It's going to be Nimarata Nikki Randhawa Haley. This is the same situation Kamala was in before her campaign blew up yet since she was the largest benefactor of jewish money (pete buttgig was #2) during the primaries they put her on the Biden ticket. Buttgig also ended up in the administration.

https://www.jta.org/2024/01/10/poli...king-for-a-credible-alternative-to-trump

Nikki Haley has emerged as a favorite for Jewish Republican donors looking for a credible alternative to Trump

WASHINGTON (JTA) — With just days to go until Republican voters begin casting their presidential primary ballots, Nikki Haley is hoping that she can pull off an unlikely win over Donald Trump.

One thing the former South Carolina governor has in her corner: a growing array of major Jewish donors.

Haley, who also served as Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, is not yet leading in any poll. But she is creeping up steadily in national surveys, has reached a virtual tie for a distant second place and is hoping for an upset win in New Hampshire later this month, bolstered Wednesday when former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who had been focusing on the state, dropped out. Eventually, she hopes to unite the entire anti-Trump vote behind her.

That anti-Trump constituency, according to one person with knowledge of how Republican donors are making decisions, includes many of the party’s most prominent Jewish names, who soured on Trump after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and are tired of “the chaos and crazy” that accompanies the former president.

He got his Juris Doctor from Yale Law school in 2013. I don't know the requirements to be AG but he knows the law - or at a minimum, how to interpret it.

I didn't know this until now but he's pretty good friends with JD Vance, being they are both from Ohio

Sarah Palin.

1. NOTHING would piss off the dems more.
2. She's not busy.
3. No one would dare make a move on him with her waiting in the wings.
