Costs like $35 to have someone plow your driveway. If you can't afford snow removal, you darn sure can't afford home ownership.

Wifes side of the family is from there. Her great uncles statue stands in front of the Court House in Clermont.
Was my pheasant hunt every other year for about 6 years, great people, some darn good hunting. Made an offer on a place in Clermont this week. Got out offered... Housing market is still pretty warm some places

I lived in Iowa for about 5-6 years. It's like any place else, plenty of really good folks and plenty of bad folks too.
Had excellent pheasant hunting and coon hunting up there. But damned if they don't hate trees up there.
Never had a problem finding someone to drink with up there. Didn't matter what time of the day or night it was.
Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right.

We got a foot the other day and forecast for 5-10" more today into tomorrow. 20+" in a week is totally uncalled for.

Snow storm here in my part of Iowa. 6" and still coming down a bit and 25 MPH wind. Nasty out there for the most part. Glad I am home and not driving.
