I’m looking at a local buy for a ruger model 77 in great shape with bullets and dies.
What are they selling for? Any help would be appreciated.
It’s a 7x57 Mauser with tang safety.

Go to Gunbroker, do an advanced search for completed sales. That will give you a good idea.

Yep, $600 is dirt cheap. That’s a buy it now with no questions asked price with the extras he’s offering. Which is exactly what he’s counting on. If I thought it was legit, it would have been gone 5 minutes after it was posted. Good luck.

It's a $800~1000 proposition for a 77 nowadays. You might be able to find one a few hundred less, but they're commanding a king's ransom now because they're just good, compared to the junk that's being sold. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

most sales on GB never actually result in someone paying some one else for a product. talk to any of your ffl's. the only thing you can see on GB is the highest bid not an actual sale price.

Very odd, but maybe they forgot to send me (an FFL) the message. Out of several hundred transactions, I've only had maybe 2-3 that failed to follow through............
