Most are smarter than that. They won’t just give you their real name and address. They have someone else’s name and address with an out of the way mailbox they can sit and watch, and as soon as the mail vehicle delivers and is out of sight, they can grab the payment.

How do they cash a check or get an electronic payment without their real name, just asking.

Just a guess but if you ATM deposit the check, as long as it clears the account it was written on...the money is gone...or with a Money Order, "check" cashing convenience store will cash with limited confirmation...for a fee.
