This has been my main source of information on hunting, firearms and reloading for over 20 years.
The chemo knocked a bunch of stuff out of my brain. A lot of peripheral memory just disappeared. I'm fine now, but it was a little scary at first, especially in regards to reloading. There is so much detail that needs to be there. One of the coping mechanisms I used was looking up what I had posted on the 'Campfire regarding a given subject, and usually there was enough in the thread to get me back on track.
The other thing the chemo caused was a period of fuzzy thinking. I bounced ideas off you guys rather than try and brain them out myself. This was especially true when I was trying to pick powder and loads for new projects. Some folks thought it was lame, but it really did help. I literally outsourced my thinking to you guys and it worked.
I also have attenuated memory of the chemo process itself. I kept a daily log of it on here. There were about 2 weeks there when I had COVID and didn't have visitors. As a result, you guys know more about what happened than either me or my family. I tried to go back and read some of that stuff. Yikes. They had me on demand morphine and I have no memory of it. Its called chemo brain and my wife has it . How they stop cancer now is barbaric . You get poison or radiation that has many side effects that are not good . You have to be tough SOB to live through that .
Its all right to be white!! Stupidity left unattended will run rampant Don't argue with stupid people, They will drag you down to their level and then win by experience

Don't peruse the Classifieds if you've been drinking.

I had no clue how bad of a rifleman I really was...until I learned real elk hunters shoot 'em in the earhole with a .243. At a run. All day long.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

I've learned a lot about reloading , one of the main reasons I joined. I learned it's easy, to fall into the trap of bs posting. Hunting tips, shooting tips, and how much different hunting is in other parts of the country. Learned how lucky to that people living in the west are, for public land hunting opportunities, compared to other parts of the country! Oh ya and just how much members seem to hate, others they will never meet! It's all good!
