Well, we're sitting here with Iran trying to precipitate WW3 having organized most of the Mideast in effort to crush Israel. They are interfering with world trade and apparently believe nobody will truly interfere. Hypothetically speaking, what if we told Russia/China we are not interested in playing the game, and invited them to take over what might be left in, oh, T-3 minutes.....
They are trying to develop nukes and are aggressively promoting a regional conflict. Anyone think this will end well if we do nothing?

Russia, China, and Iran could disappear tomorrow and the U.S.A. would still have the situation it's in to deal with. Not sure what you mean by that. I'm thinking a lot of green glowing glass in the vicinity of Tehran and perhaps a few other places.

They have been a royal PITA for over 2500 years. Why do we tolerate their continued existence? Disturbed? It seems more advanced than that. Persia is an ancient civilization with some of the most intelligent people on the planet. They are proud and capable and know how to deal with the demented attacks on their sovereignty, something our nation can't do. They are also solvent, independent from the Money Changers - their true crime (like Libya and Iraq.) How old is Murica anyway? Looks to be a suicidal clucking hen destroying its own pathetic future to save Israel from itself, a truly abominable cult of amoral psychopaths, if you want to hate on a major PITA.

Saddam Hussein had Iran well in check...it's called balance of power. But from Rumsfeld to Hilary the US State Dept had a better idea, war...WMD's we know you got 'em.... bugler sound the charge. Oopsy daisy, look at Iran grow into the big player now that Iraq is off the board.
