My Golden's pads pack with snow badly to the point he can't work in snow.
What bootys do you guys use for similar situations? He wants to go but he is in pain within 10 minutes. I literally pick out snow balls between his pads.
Or do you use pad conditioners?

Shaving the hair out from between his toes will go a long way on keeping the snow from packing in.
Talk to a groomer.

My wirehair had soft feet and a day on crusty snow and on could trail him by the blood on the snow. I tried a.few brands of commercial bootie and most didn't last a day. I went with vet wrap and duct tape. I kept a scissor (medical with blunt tip) tat I could slide down his.leg and cut off the wrap in seconds.
Yes I tried "tuff pad", didn't help.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Talk to a groomer. This is what I’ve always done. I use a small pair of sharp scissors and it’s worked great.
