My current project car is a tribute to my father- - - -a replica of the 34 Ford 3 window coupe he ran on the dirt tracks of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama in the early 1950s. The frame and running gear will be original, with a fiberglass body a friend in Texas is making for me. No fenders, "wide 5" wheels, flathead Ford V8 engine, a single bucket seat, B-17 seat belt, and a roll cage. The hauler is a 51 GMC 3 ton with a 12 foot flat bed, a 270 6 cylinder engine, 2 speed rear axle, and a 3 speed Brownie auxiliary transmission. I'll be doing some exhibition laps at a few of the remaining dirt tracks in the area once it's complete.

First car was a 1967 Mustang, V6, 3 speed manual. Bought it from my dad my junior year in high school 1975. First truck was a 1979 Ford, 4x4, 351 V8, 4 speed manual, standard cab, short box. Bought that truck brand new whilst in the service for the bargain price of $6,700.
1964 Chevelle Malibu with a 6 and an automatic. You could stand on either side of the engine within the compartment, you could haul the contents of a small house in the trunk, you didn't need a key to start it as long as you didn't lock the ignition with a key, I loved that car.

Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.
