Kamo,

Keep on to the good path you’ve carved out for you and the little (literally) lady! Living the dream!

One question though, keeping in mind I’m a simple country boy from Nebraska and know nothing about bi-valve seafood, WTH are those shellfish? We have some big freshwater mussels here but nothing to match the size of those brutes. How do you cook them? It looks like one of the big ones would feed a family of four.

Hey, boys. Appreciate the comments/responses and a tip of the hat and raised glass of something stiff to you all (chug that shyt). '23 was a tough year. Not that anyone asked, and some of my close friends here know about it, but the girl pictured and the one I fell in love with at age 11 in Tokyo, the girl I dreamt about for decades and ultimately found and became my wife-- and savior-- underwent a double mastectomy and subsequent reconstructive surgery recently, following a diagnosis of bilateral breast cancer.

I've known a few men in this life who I consider pretty serious badasses. Like, actually, dangerous people. A few of those are truly scary, not f*cking around at all kind of inner city Boston boys who take no prisoners . The funny thing is, my wife has proven IMO to be tougher, mentally, than the lot of them. What she's chosen and agreed to endure would make most men weep, and she's done it with a middle finger and a grin. Less than a week after they cut off her breasts we were in a local joint downing a few drinks, catching a buzz and with giggles, she smiled as I twirled her around the dance floor.

Live. F*cking. Life.

Kinda' buzzed at present (yes I know, big surprise lol) but WeaselRus, God bless but your math is a bit off.

Matt, loved your ice fishing thread, brother. We need to get a plan going.

Mbhunt: Of course. If you're not getting clam bellies, you're not getting real deal New England clams.

New 2 99s: Nothing but love fer ye, mate. Hit me with a # via PM, if ye please.

Thanks for the input and comments, gents. Ay yo, SL Rick, I'm down with you no doubt, brother. Dap to your boy, right?

wink

Damn, Kamo. I'm sorry to hear the big C has entered your world. Just don't let it run your lives. And it certainly looks like you dont need that advice. Well done to both of you.

It seems ever more rare that two people who are so perfectly matched can find each other in this world today. You two clearly did. I look forward to more photo compostions with the both of you "living life" for many years to come.

p.s. We'll have to work on that lame-ass deke spread. What are you going after, seagulls?
