Information sharing - Millers in Delaware has some custom Lefty Browning Citori 425's Sporting shot guns on GI. They do a custom run of Citori 425's & 725's every so often and usually includes lefty's. I purchased a lefty 425 last year for skeet and love it.

FYI - Another good location to find LH shotguns is at Joel Etchen Guns. Especially if you want a Beretta O/U. I was emailing one of their salespersons last week and he was really helpful. We were discussing a Fabarm Autumn which is a SxS with a LH upgrade option for upland hunting.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Brownings. It's always nice to have other options to consider.

If you own a Beretta O/U you can send it to Cole Fine Guns and Gunsmithing. They can change out the stock to left handed cast off.

BTW the Browning is a true lefty, break action lever even operates in the opposite direction. Takes a while to get used to after shooting modified righties.

I always thought that using "cast on" & "cast off" was kind of nonsensical when "left-handed cast" & "right-handed cast" would seem to make more sense to most people. But that's not shotgun nomenclature. Not only is the on/off designation not intuitive, to my mind it's backwards in that the predominant cast (RH) should be "on" & the rarer cast (LH) should be "off". But there's no logical reason I can think of why it should be one instead of the other.

But it is the other way around: left-handed is "cast on".

For a long time, I would always have to reverify that because even though I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right, I always doubted myself because I knew my brain wanted to swap the terminology.

Thanks for posting the additional link!

I bought a Berretta 682 Gold E Sporting. Had Coles put on a nice cast on, left palm swell stock, along with a lefty trigger. Of course, the wood is gorgeous. The matching forend I wanted Schnabel instead of beavertail. The left hand mods made all the difference in the world for clays.

I was on the fence between the 682 and the Browning 725 which also was cast on with a left hand palm swell. Both are fine guns for left handed shooters.

I also do use a 28 ga. Browning 725. Only comes in RT. Hand, stock has a neutral cast, had an adjustable comb installed works great.
