Gents,
Bought one new (but preowned) back around '95 and have hunted it. Had a TC peep on it, but removed. Sling studs. Dinged it around lock contour this past season and pissed me off.
Haven't killed a deer with it for over a decade. Maybe hunted it 5 days since. Whats a hunter grade Silver Elite worth?
I have the box, beat up, but no manual.
Thanks, H

I would say $500ish, maybe $700 in minty condition. Although, on GB, you never know

Interesting that this thread came up, I've got one that was given to me (brand new) as a college graduation gift in late '95 as well. Don't see too many of these come up as I believe I heard that the T/C plant burned shortly after these came out and they didn't make anymore afterwards. Not sure on that though. I've killed several deer with mine (using patched round balls), but it's still minty without a mark on it.
Good luck with your sale, kinda wish I could buy it so that each of my boys would have one someday. But, alas, too many other obligations... ha.

The box is beat up, the rifle just has a few marks LOL. It can stay in the safe AFAIC.

Keep it. A 90 yr. old man I knew had an old Win. 70 in .270 Win. I asked if he wanted to sell it . He said " it ain't eatin no hay."
