Wife and I were offered free tickets to Super Bowl VIII. It was in Rice stadium in Houston. Miami beat Minnesota. It was not a close contest. Im not sure it was sold out. We lived in Houston at the time, drove to the game, walked in and drove home. It was not the “big extravaganza” that occurs today. I have zero interest in going to today’s Super Bowl.

Why the heck would anybody pay to go sit in the weather when they can watch from home for free, with better views, replays and the dogs.. Now if those commentators would only shut their yaps! Or moderate the inane commentary anyway. They don't have to talk ALL the time. I just saw the damned play! Oh, well - into each life a little inane must fall. And here is yours....
